Still not being satisfied with the production quality of the original song, I decided to completely revamp everything with some new software I acquired. In my opinion, this is a complete night and day difference and THE definitive version of the song. This is what I intended it to sound like.

In other news, I have not just been sitting here doing nothing. Sleeping With A Stranger is officially finished, and it’s about time. All that is left is recording. Expect to hear it within the next month. Recording time takes longer due to my job unfortunately. There is also a multitude of songs that are nearing completion. Expect a release of the song “Doomsday Clock” within the coming week.

I’ve decided I really hate making announcements concerning when this or that song will be finished because I never really make the deadline due to life happening. But anyway, expect a YouTube video to be posted where I will address everything concerning both this website and my music. Things are looking up now, they’re just taking a while. Bare with me.

I will go ahead and say a few pages on this site including the layout itself definitely need an overhaul.

Just an update concerning music. I’ve got 3 tracks coming very soon. Here are the details:

Third Eye – Complete. All that’s left is to mix and master, and it will be ready for the public to hear. This will be the last public release from The Meditation until the rest of the album in its entirety is finished.

Sleeping With A Stranger – Complete for the most part. Just have to get to work on the drums and basslines both of which won’t take very long. A couple days at the most, and it will be ready to record and release!

??? – I don’t know what the title of the track is yet, but I’m doing a collaboration with a fellow musician named Lyrical Smirk. I’ll be contributing guitar to Smirk’s electronic talent. The guitar is about 95% done.

—-OTHER UPCOMING SONGS—-
N.W.O. – An extremely heavy song inspired by Meshuggah and Periphery, just to name a couple bands. It’s about 70% done and is sounding great so far.

Finished writing both the guitar and lyrics to a new song, titled ‘Consume You’. All that’s left is the synth and drums which won’t take long at all since they’re mostly just accenting the guitar and vocals! I’m predicting in 2 weeks at the latest the song will be available so long as I don’t have any technical issues. Also, I’ve decided that I’m not doing this Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 thing with The Meditation anymore because I’ve accumulated enough tracks and enough music written that I can just bring them both together and make it one album. The official tracklist is as follows:
