Finally got around to giving the guitar a full test run and review. The above link is the above text based review. I’ll be making a video demo of it as well soon.
Just a small update to tell what’s going on with my music. Heres’s a (small) list of the songs I’m actively working on going by the order of which they are planed to be released.
1. Shanoa
2. Sleeping With A Stranger
3. Rage Guy
4. Consume You
5. 21st Tragedy
I know it’s been a while since I’ve released anything new but, life happens.
In other news you can download the tracks from my B-SIDES album here: http://soundcloud.com/wrathoskvro/sets/b-sides-21/
Lastly, I have a new guitar added to the collection. It’s an 8 string!
Hey guys! Hope you enjoyed my latest track. It was a doozy to make, but I honestly really like how it turned out. So what’s this massive update? Well, there’s quite a few things. How about I list them:
New DerpCast Episode – This one ended up being pretty hilarious, and features my cousin as a special guest. Check out the DerpCast page if you’re interested!
Updated Facebook Musician Page – Starting to promote this a little more as it’s pretty empty at the moment, and the first update I made was the “Bandpage” section which basically shows an embedded flash player so my music can be heard on Facebook. If you’d like to see, get small little random/fun updates, and just chat among fans and friends, or with me, go here.
YouTube Videos – Not only have I added the latest song to the YouTube page, but there are a few other videos on different subjects. One covers a new guitar polish I decided to try, the other two are rants, and of course you’ve got The DerpCast. Check it all out here.
NEW ALBUM RELEASED! Sort of – I’ve accumulated enough songs that aren’t related to my main two albums (The Fury and The Meditation) that I was able to compile it into an official album release. It’s a B-Sides album of course, and the title of it is just that. ‘B-SIDES’. Complete with 12 songs both new and old, spanning across alot of different genres. Think of this release as a piece of history, from when I was just starting out all the way up to now. The popular ‘Spring Yard Remake’ can be found in this release, as well as a couple other unexpected surprises.
Music page revamped! – Just take a look. Now included are playlists of streamable versions of each album, and of course each track can still be downloaded for free. Since The Fury and The Meditation are not complete, of course the tracklists for those are pretty small on the playlists. However, if you’d still like to see the full tracklist despite being done or not, I’ve added an info page for each album. They’re not up just yet, but expect to see them pop up within the next 24 hours. The ‘Album Info’ pages will not only consist of the tracklists, but also an explanation of the concepts for each album, maybe a little bit of history behind them, and some snippets of artwork for each one.
Rigs Updated - Pretty self explanatory. I updated the rigs page with new pictures and descriptions.
Friends Updated – Nothing too fancy, just added a couple affiliation images.
New Layout Coming Soon – I don’t know about you, but I’m getting tired of this current layout on this site. It’s getting pretty dull to look at, it’s a little buggy, and it’s just getting old. Expect a fresh new look of some kind soon.
Other News – I’m not sure when, but I do plan on making physically pressed copies of B-SIDES released. They won’t be free of course, because it does cost me money, but I’ll make sure it’s as fair of a price as possible. The MP3′s will always be free for download. Also, I’m now fully directing my focus to finishing The Meditation: Chapter 1, and getting it pressed as well. Same deal, free for download, not free for hard copy. Also having that said, The Meditation will be released by the track. Soon as one song is finished, it will be uploaded online has always. However, due to all of this new content, for marketing reasons, the rest of The Fury will not be publicly available until it is 100% finished. The upside to that is you guys will be blasted with a ton of new material all at once! And of course, it will be pressed. It’s not official but there may be a guest appearance or two on future tracks as well. Nobody super well known or anything, but collaboration is always a great experience.
Enjoy the new stuff guys, and until next time, keep your head high and rock on.
As a personal thanks to RadioSEGA for playing my music on the air every time I come out with something new, I made this. Ironically, I think this is by far the most effort I’ve ever put into any song. This track saw its debut today on Saturday Night Sega, as a ‘Saturday Night Surprise’ along side the launch of the new website design, Project 7. The response I got from the listeners was absolutely amazing. Both the IRC and my Twitter account pretty much blew up as it started playing.
Hope you guys enjoy, and be sure to tune in for their live shows as well! It’s an awesome community whether you’re a Sega fan or not. Until next time, rock on!

As you can see, we’ve got a new section! Check it out here if you’re into podcasts and humor! In other news, I’ve started making some YouTube videos and have plenty more planned. The next videos will show my small, but growing Sega Genesis collection, as well as a review and demonstration of an excellent guitar polish made by Music Nomad. Click here for the YouTube page. Last but not least, a new blog discussing a comparison between a cheap mic and a more professional level mic is now available for reading here. Until next time, rock on!
The complete version of it is done! Bang your heads. Check the lyrics on the Music page. Also if you’d like to view the YouTube video instead, here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KETc63V_eB4
So in addition to the new song being finished, I have some more excellent news. The new remix/remake of Spring Yard Zone is about 50% done, and will debut on the new RadioSEGA live show called Late & Live, on March 2nd. I will also in the near future be making YouTube videos, which will cover how to play certain parts of my songs, me just talking about certain discussion topics and things in front of the camera such as something related to music or gaming, showing off my game collection, talking about the gear I use and possibly even doing some reviews, just whatever I can think of pretty much.
Last but not least, there will be a new section coming soon! Podcasts..or as me and my friends have titled it, Derpcast. The only catch is, it’s suited mostly for viewers 18 and older, simply because there is some foul language and occasionally suggestive subjects that we touch upon. As far as what the podcasts will be about, it’s totally improvised, so the topic of discussion can be absolutely anything. It’s just a fun little thing to do, to see if it catches on. The idea came from the hilarious conversations that me and my friends end up having. Not to be taken too seriously for sure! Stay tuned, the podcast section including the first two podcasts will be up in a couple days.
So, I’ve been fairly silent lately. Reason being, I spent a couple weeks exclusively with my girlfriend, but while I was doing that, I came down with the flu as well as a double ear infection, and I’m still not fully over it. This makes it very difficult to record vocals, which is why the full vocal version of Alpha Omega Sin is not finished. However, I do have the instrumental. Check it out!
Also as a way to give thanks to my pals at RadioSEGA for always playing my newest tracks, I’ve decided that I’m going to do a Sega themed medley and/or cover. May even do a couple of them. I’m not 100% sure on it, but it is something I’d like to do. I’m thinking the first track will be a Metal medley of the Sonic boss themes.
I also plan on doing some more random blogging as well as posting things on YouTube once I find the time. My new YouTube channel can be found here. It’s empty right now, but it shouldn’t be for too much longer. And of course, the blog is here.
So a fairly known person in the YouTube gaming community has announced a fan art contest. Since I’m obviously a fan, and the guy is really into Metal, I thought what would be better than to make an Alpha Omega Sin theme song?
This will be the first song released publicly from The Fury and with good reason. I finished writing it, and I’m fairly confident that the recording and mixing process should be done before or on the first week of January. This is a brutal Death Metal song with melodic influences. Check out the lyrics here.
Enjoy it guys! Both myself, and my girlfriend, Shelby Hughes collaborated together to make this cover possible. This is the official cover for The Meditation: Chapter 1. Click the thumbnail for full size.
There’s more where that came from, but you’ll have to get the album to see.
I decided to remove both Twisted Identity: Schizophrenia (2006) and Wrath Oskvro/Infernis Necris: Essences (2008) from the music page for a few reasons.
First, neither of them capture my true “essence”. Yay for puns. Specifically, I made them both when I was only a beginner and before I had the proper equipment and know-how. As a result both the recording quality and the music writing itself suffered on those albums.
Second point kind of relates to the first point. I just don’t want to convey an image that makes my music appear to be mediocre and half-assed. To be quite frank, I think they both turned out to be pretty crap and they do not in any way reflect what I’m actually capable of. This is still only the beginning, but from here on out, the only music that will be released will be top notch.
Third is of course..marketing. A viewer on this website who happens to be interested in downloading my music naturally would go for the earliest album first. Why? Because it’s sequential, and the earlier albums are the first thing that one sees on the page. If a listener hears one album and thinks it sucks, and then moves to the next album only to find out that it also sucks, then I pretty much lose a fan that way.
Having that said though, there are some key songs on both album that I will reproduce in the future. As many of you can already see, “Arcticus” is being completely rewritten and will be titled “Arcticus Reboot”.
Until next time. Ciao!
